Newsletter - Issue 5

January 2006 Newsletter - NEWLOOK NEWYEAR.

Do you want the good news or the bad news? The bad news is that 2005 is over. And what a year it has been. But the good news is its 2006 and we get to do it all again! This year we want to give the same high level of service to all our customers as we did last year but our aim this year is to top that level of satisfaction and build closer relationships with all our customers.

Issue 5

New Year New Look

New YEar New Look

As times change and fashions change, so do websites. And while new sites were rolling out of our studios, we were getting a tad jealous of how they looked, so we gave ourselves a little overhaul. Never dreaming of losing our classic sails logo we went for a new structure of site and a new dynamic of design.

Why Change?

Well everything needs to change, not only to simply look different but also to keep it all a little more interesting. But we didn't remove our logo or core identity and principles as this is who we are, its a little like when your favourite soap changes the theme music, its the same essentially but you know its different.

Do you want a new look for the new year?

If you own a shop how do you think a refit would go with your customer? Exactly! If you refitted a shop how do you think that would go with your wallet? Hmm, probably not as good. Well a refitted website is a fraction of the price. The content is there, the idea is there, so the look is all you need to change and we guarantee the refit will please you and your customer.

Maintaining Your Sites

Maintaining Your Sites

You've had your site developed by us and now its live. We've met your specification and your happy. 3 months down the line you need extra functionality but you have no maintenance contract with us.

Your options at this point are to pay for services by the hour or have us create a new specification and quote for the work, which can take time.

With our maintenance contracts we will begin work at the next possible opportunity and all work is based on a highly reduced hourly rate, depending on the type you have chosen.

We offer a range of products all based on hours, the more hours your buy the cheaper they become, and each one is constructed to fit your requirements. Why pay as you go when you can pay for a block and benefit from cheaper work and faster organisation of resources.

The site has a dynamic publications and news system, and features a dynamic advertising section where companies can display ads and are charged on a pay-per-click/lead system.

The site houses several interactive sections that were all created and designed in PHP, XHTML and CSS. Business cards and letterheads were also designed in house to complete the overall corporate image.

British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy Resistance Surveillance

The BSAC resistance surveillance was one of MRS's biggest tasks to-date. The system is designed to handle raw data that is gathered by scientists research on antimirobials and bacteraemia and is displayed as online accessible data.

The site was designed using an Object Orientated programming language called Java, giving the system a more robust and specific architecture. Designed to replace the old BSAC resistance surveillance website, the new site improved not only in the manipulation and creation of data but also on its browser compatibility and accessibility.
