The Beginning

Procurement International Ltd have been established for over 30 years and in that time they have established themselves as the leading supplier of aspirational products for the rewards, loyalty and motivational sectors. After meeting with the team at Procurement to discuss how an online system could improve how catalogues of products could be generated while also giving their customers the ability to generate their own, Impro was born.

Procurement have 1000's of products either in stock or ready to order. All the information is stored in an internal database that was to stay as their main product database. MRS needed to create a system that could communicate with the offline database and provide all the information to Procurement Staff and customers in a varied amount of ways.

Through regular updates from the internal system, Impro stores all the raw data in a secure online database. The main administrators of the system have the ability to create accounts for other users to access the data. Each individual user have their own individual rights and also criteria which displays the data in different ways.

Catalogues of products can be created by the administrators or via the customers own control panel. The catalogues can then be exported as CSV, compressed ZIP, XML Feed, PDF, as a microsite or using the API tool to use the catalogue data as they wish.

Microsites are online catalogues which are automatically generated in the system and branded to look as the customer wishes. Products from Impro are displayed with points values so that the customers users can go online and redeem directly from the web site

In the End

Impro is now open to registrations and is currently running a variety of microsites and catalogues for a stream of high profile names and companies. Constantly in development, Impro has ambitions to take the industry by storm.
