Web Site Design
The Right 'Look & Feel' Web Design

Web site is a cost-effective online version of a brochure. It is our responsibility as the Web Design and Development Company to meet the requirements of a client - ensuring a suitable design fits their corporate identity and targets the right web audience.

When it comes to designing a web site layout, we always use the most appropriate colours, fonts and styles for clients' sites. Of course, this doesn't mean we shouldn't comprise our creativity skills. Our Web Designers put their thinking caps on and sooner or later, we come up with some wow-factor designs that would be hard for the clients to say 'no' to.

You know your own business and we can help to promote it. MRS ensures a right 'look and feel' web site is attractive to your target market and encourages visitors to stay on it for as long as possible and come back more often.

Web Development
Web Application Integration

To start with, Web Designers at MRS would ensure web pages are being structured to the way they should be and to a client's requirements. Then we integrate our designs into PHP, which is a server side coding language that our Web Developers use commonly.

Just to give you some idea what you can have on your website. Let's suppose that your business is in the travel industry. A Web Developer can add functionality to your site for an online booking system, which enables visitors to book a holiday via the website immediately.

It is most convenient for the visitors as they can choose when and where to use Internet. They may not being able to book on phone or in a shop during the opening hours. Internet is a great medium tool for digging out more information. Also, it is cost effective so you can reduce your overhead costs, e.g. cutting down a number of agents.

Search Engine Optimisation

Have you got a website now? What's next for you? Being at the top of Google's natural listings is probably by far the most challenging marketing tool for your business. You and all of your competitors would want to be the number one for a certain keyword.

Each one of you is equipped with tools to attack with. Whoever had a most powerful weapon and successful plan is likely to be the victor of the war. Now, if you had a website built into a search engine friendly way and with many great search engine optimisation tools you could win the fight.

Here are some examples that we can do to help with your website:

  1. Clean coding behind your website
  2. Your Meta tags to be arranged correctly
  3. Unique content on every single page
  4. Labeling images with descriptive alt attributes
  5. Re-directing 301 pages back to your domain name

Some Useful Tips for Effective Web Design

Here are some useful tips for designing a professional and high quality web site:

  1. Easy to Navigate:
Visitors should be able to find their way round your website quickly and easily. The trick is to ensure that your visitor stays and explores your site as long as possible.
  2. Clean Layout Design:
Your website should be easy on your visitors' eyes. Give your site enough breathing space around the text, images and so on. Be consistent with font faces, font sizes and colours etc.
  3. Compatible with All Browsers:
Check your site for most common browsers (latest and previous versions), such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari. Make sure you're happy with the way your website looks in all browsers.
  4. Fast Loading Website:
Minimise file sizes for your graphics, Flash movies and scripts. The smaller file sizes are the quicker your site will load. Bear in mind that many visitors don't have much patience.
